Feast: A Festival in Three Courses
(2018 - 2021)
Feast is an annual outdoor arts and music festival hosted by AMFM created to raise awareness about food insecurity on Chicago's South and West sides. Through a series of activations in parks in food deserted areas, AMFM pairs music performances and art activations from local artists with food mutual aid.
Longtime partner Imperfect Produce, restaurants, chefs, and food pantries partner with FEAST to create access to fresh and healthy food, and hot meals for free. The festival also seeks to raise awareness about the rich and diverse artistic talent the city has by offering a platform for local artists to perform at a festival solely for emerging artists.
